Congratulations to Mandy Chan of Carmel Secondary School who has won our Who's That Girl + Boy character naming competition with her entries: Suki and Denny. The 15-year-old will receive book vouchers worth $1,000 courtesy of Dymocks Booksellers.

'[Suki] means clever, bold, beautiful, nice and adult,' Mandy explained her name choice for the girl. 'The character's looks are very hip as she wears nice clothes. She wears a shirt and a pair of jeans, which suggests she is bold. Her nice haircut makes her look beautiful.

'The boy is a hipster, too. Denny means handsome, cool, cute, someone who likes to play tricks and has an interest in music. He looks kind of sad, which makes him very cool. I think he is very cute because he has a cat key ring on his bag.'
