Storyline: Set in the 16th century in Japan, Ninja Rikimaru and Ayame are rescued by the leader of Lord Godha's Azuma ninja Master Azuma Shiunsai. They must complete different missions offered by the master.

Gameplay: It's easy to play and you can learn how to manipulate the characters easily. But it takes some time to figure out how to use all the ninja tools. Also, the story progresses slowly, which bored me sometimes.

Graphics: The characters look real and beautiful. The backdrop of the game shows what Japan's samurai era would have looked like. However, the graphics of people being killed are so real they look a bit violent.

Overall: It's pretty exciting, like going through a real adventure. But there are not enough guides, which left me feeling confused and lost sometimes.

Gameplay: You can choose to take on the role of either Rikimaru or Ayame at the beginning of the game. Using over 30 ninja weapons and tools, they hunt down and eliminate samurai, ninja, and even demons and zombies. To avoid being spotted, the characters can sneak around, hide behind bushes and navigate through maze-like levels to kill their enemies in a single blow. By performing stealth kills, the characters will learn secret ninja techniques. Co-operative missions can be carried out and you can play together with your friends. But when either one of the players dies, the game is over.

Graphics: The graphics are great, which helps boost the mystical atmosphere of the game. The characters look pretty real.

Overall: An exciting game. You have to be really patient about getting your enemies. But the ways in which the characters assassinate people are quite violent.
