This futuristic outfit, which could have come straight from the wardrobe of a Hollywood sci-fi blockbuster, featured on the catwalk of Polytechnic University's Institute of Textiles and Clothing graduation fashion show this week. The event, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Kowloon, featured the work of 24 students studying for an MA in fashion and textile design. Judges included Kevin Yeung, chairman of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers' Association, which sponsored the Creativity Award, won by Lawrence Tsang Kwok-wah. Three other students won awards. The costume pictured was designed by Carrie Chan Yi-man.
