Clarification

In an article published on June 19, 2003 in the South China Morning Post and posted on scmp.com entitled 'Request for English barrister rejected', there were a number of factually incorrect statements made concerning the Allied Group.

We would like to clarify that the Allied Group is not in any way connected with the trials of Messrs Lee Ming-tee and Ronald Tse. There is no suggestion that the Allied Group is troubled financially or otherwise. We would like to express our regret and apologise to the Allied Group for any inconvenience caused.
