A special visitor for a very special little girl

Yesterday morning, nine-year-old Wong Tsz-ka was an ordinary schoolgirl.

Last night, she was being hailed as a miracle.

Tsz-ka was travelling to school with her mother at 6.30am when bus 265M plunged off the edge of Tuen Mun Road.

Seconds later, the youngest passenger on the bus managed to pull herself clear and walk away from the wreckage.

It is still unclear where they were sitting in the bus and whether that had any bearing on their good luck. But such details mattered little - both the mother and daughter had survived.

Witnesses to the accident said the first survivor to clamber from under the wreckage was a girl dressed in a yellow T-shirt - later confirmed to be Tsz-ka.
