June 19: A constable was attacked when called to investigate a fight in a seafood restaurant in Hunghom. A 28-year-old man was arrested for the alleged assault. Another officer was punched while trying to calm a drunken man in an internet cafe in Yau Ma Tei.
June 18: A taxi driver attacked two officers, injuring one, as he was being issued a parking ticket in Central. Another two officers were injured when an alleged drug trafficker tried to avoid arrest in Mongkok.
May 20: Four officers suffered severe chop wounds after being attacked by a man who barricaded himself inside his Tsing Yi flat when served a summons for a minor bicycle offence.
May 16: A sergeant and three constables were attacked by a man during a police raid on a gambling den controlled by triads in Tsuen Wan.
May 10: Two officers were assaulted while trying to disperse a group of seemingly drunken men in Tsim Sha Tsui.
April 6: A senior police inspector used pepper spray to disperse a mob when he and a colleague were attacked while trying to make a drug arrest in Kwun Tong.
