Mr Bull, managing director of local firm Arena Hong Kong, has filed a High Court writ seeking more than $660,000 from Heineken Hong Kong Ltd.

The writ said Mr Bull and the Dutch brewer's local unit entered into an agreement on February 20 last year for Mr Bull's company to render services worth $1.89 million.

Heineken was said to have paid four of six instalments but failed to pay the balance, amounting to 35 per cent of the contract price.

Mr Bull accused the Heineken unit of breaching their agreement and failing to exercise good faith when assessing Arena Hong Kong's performance.

As a result of the assessment, Arena Hong Kong did not receive the final two payments, which amounted to about $660,000.
