What Not To Wear
by Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine Weidenfeld Nicolson $112
Based on the BBC series of the same name, Trinny (tall, thin) and Susannah (short, fat) give advice to fashion victims. Tips include: No woman over the age of 35 should wear skirts above the knee; never show off breasts and legs at the same time; and never wear leather trousers unless you are a biker - you'll look like a gunslinger with a wet pubic area. Crammed with photos of the 'girls' - they're 38 and 40 - in the right and wrong clothes.
Critics say: 'So cut the crap of the fashion mags and learn like us to say words like arse, tits and bum. You're feeling better already, aren't you?' The Guardian
Pros: Bold and bitchy.
Cons: From the photos it's hard to tell which clothes are the dos and which are the don'ts.
