$400,000 reward for help in capture of double-murder suspect
Police are offering a $400,000 reward for information leading to the capture of a Filipino worker suspected in the brutal killing of his employers at their Sha Tin home four months ago.
The reward is effective until February 24, according to a case investigator. 'We want to get as much information as possible so that we can arrest the culprit as soon as possible,' the officer said.
Magno Cruz Manalili, 33, is about 190cm tall, of strong build and with short black hair.
Manalili left Hong Kong for the Philippines two days before the bodies of Ng Ka-mong and his wife, Sun King-man - both teachers aged 54 - were discovered inside the closet of the master bedroom in their single-storey house in Pai Tau Tsuen, Sha Tin, on April 15.
The couple had multiple stab wounds to their chests.
Police have estimated that the couple were killed between April 12 and 13.
