Hong Kong people buying mainland flats continue to select Shenzhen properties as their first choice, attracted by their proximity. 'Despite growing attractiveness in other cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong people still prefer Shenzhen properties,' said Land Power International chairman Michael Choi Ngai-min. Most of them bought second homes there as they worked in Shenzhen regularly, he said. They are eyeing flats priced at between 500,000 yuan (about HK$471,142) and 700,000 yuan. The upmarket residential development of Kerry Properties' Arcadia Court, above, could be one of Hong Kong buyers' choices, according to Mr Choi.
