Light rail services disrupted after crash Light Rail Transit train services between Tin Wing and Hang Mei Tsuen were disrupted for more than an hour after one of its trains collided with a truck in Tin Shui Wai. Services between the six stops were halted just before 11am when the collision happened in Tin Shui Road near Tin Shui Estate and the truck toppled on to the track. Feeder buses were used to ferry passengers between stops. The service returned to normal at noon after the truck was towed away. The driver and his passenger were injured and taken to Tuen Mun Hospital. The two men, aged 21 and 22, were discharged after treatment. Man loses over $100,000 after briefcase stolen A middle-aged man told police he lost a briefcase containing $100,000 in cash, 7,000 yuan, a diamond ring, three crystal necklaces, a mobile phone, an identity card and some travel documents while he was in an electronics shop in Wing Lok Street, Sheung Wan. He said he placed his briefcase on a counter while looking at some equipment at 5.30pm. Police said they were still investigating the theft.
