TOO HOT
Poor PCCW. Now it appears the company can't even give away Shabu Shabu Hot Pots (we kid you not) to customers without getting into trouble. Yesterday's press release says it all really:
'Although the Shabu Shabu Hot Pot was reported to be covered by GB international safety certification, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department found that the flexible cord connector could possibly break under impact. So as a safety precaution, PCCW encourages its customers to return the Hot Pot.'
Not to fear though - you can exchange it for a box fan or a Tung Fong Hung gift-pack voucher.
