Singha beer takes its product very seriously. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, the brewer has gone to great lengths to fly out seven official beer girls from Bangkok for a month-long promotional tour. The girls, pictured at Quarry Bay's Thai Orchids bar, are already receiving an inordinate amount of attention. 'They're really Thai! They're so hot, so much better looking than the local girls!' gushes one gawking guy. Raymond Leung, the regional manager of Boon Rawd Trading, which distributes Singha in Hong Kong, says the girls didn't come cheap, costing about $200,000. 'They may not be good at selling beer,' he admits, 'but they are good at getting attention from the men.'
