C for yourself

It's all very well for beauty pundits to insist that we have at least one facial a month, but relatively few people have the time or money. However, if you get the chance, make sure it's the Conscious C Facial at Body Conscious (16/F, The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street, Central). Aimed at people with sun-damaged, mature, tired, dry or dull skins (so that's all of us, then), the facial is as comprehensive and relaxing as they come. It includes a deep algae cleanse, two separate exfoliations, two masks and a vitamin C serum application, which penetrates the skin to tighten and brighten it almost instantly. While the lotions and potions are working wonders on your face, you'll be treated to massages on your head, neck and shoulders, lower arms and hands and calves. The result? A soporific state of being plus fantastically smooth, clear skin. Originally $1,200, the facial is being promoted until the end of October for the special price of $720. Call Body Conscious on 2524 6171 for appointments and further details.

Back to the future

Fashion is going retro this autumn and, so it seems, is the perfume world. Hermes' new fragrances, Caleche Eau Delicate ($430/50ml), 24 Faubourg Eau Delicate ($430/50ml) and Rouge Eau Delicate ($475/50ml), are reminiscent of the classics of the same name but have been given a modern makeover and are now lighter and more youthful. They are available from Hermes, Pacific Place, Admiralty, and department- store counters.

Scent-sation celebration

It may seem as if it were launched only yesterday but Calvin Klein's Eternity fragrance (left) has been going strong for 15 years. To celebrate, the fashion and beauty house is releasing a special collector's edition bottle for men ($420) and women ($395), bearing a silver plaque designed by the head honcho himself. They will be on Calvin Klein counters for a limited period or until stocks run out.
