Tony grins and bears it

Tony Leung Chiu-wai has proved that he is indeed a family man. The actor, known for his performances in Hero and Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood for Love, took time out of his schedule to make a trip to Sichuan to adopt one of China's national treasures.

The 1-year-old female panda has been given the name Xiang Xiang. The panda has brought him luck already: they've already filmed an advertisement together for a mainland telecom company. But Leung admits he will not exactly be a doting parent, expecting to visit Xiang Xiang just once a year.
