Teresa Cheung Siu-wai's latest movie - an artistic collaboration with director Yeung Fan (Peony Pavilion) - has made a big splash at the Sun. The newspaper said she is going to do nude scenes and play the role of a Wan Chai prostitute in the movie, which will be set in the 1930s or '40s.
Her leading man is supposedly going to be Daniel Ng Yin-chow. After speaking to Cheung, we realise the only thing she knows for sure is that the set will be built in Bangkok. Cheung has no idea about the plot, or her co-star, but she says it will be 'erotica', not pornographic.
She admitted that she is not camera-shy but she has to think twice before taking it all off. 'Although I am very westernised, I am still from Hong Kong and a mother of two. Depending on the mood and what we are trying to achieve, I would not rule out nudity.'
