Twins made a star appearance last night at Lan Kwai Fong's Lux bar, as spokesmodels for H2O's 'Oasis 24' skincare line. The venue was overcrowded by paparazzi, friends - and a surprisingly high number of male devotees.

The men made no bones about turning up in their suits to pay tribute to the cutie-pies, Charlene Choi Tsoek-jin and Gillian Chung Yan-tong (pictured with Koey, centre, the latest EMG wannabe). Organiser Francis Cheng elaborates: 'A lot of people who normally do not turn up to our fashion events made the special effort to come tonight - mainly men over 30 years old.'

Many were part of the slew of second-generation overseas Chinese from prominent Hong Kong families and who are normally more at home with down-and-dirty hip hop than bubblegum pop. Variety, I suppose, is the spice of life.
