Concurring with the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2003 and electronicAsia 2003 are three seminars, each scheduled to start at 2.30pm on the first three days.
The first is 'Global Electronics Conference on Technological Innovation and Applications', which includes presentations by Cindy Cheng, sales and marketing director of Octopus Cards who will talk about 'Secure Electronic Payment With Octopus', and Wu Zhuo from Kelon Electrical Holdings, who will talk about developing separated multi-way cooling circuit refrigeration.
Other companies represented are Siemens Medical Solutions from Germany and RadioScape from Britain.
The two remaining seminars will be on trade finance and how the closer economic partnership arrangement (Cepa) between Hong Kong and the mainland may affect the local electronics industry.
Trade fairs are not all about business but are about entertainment as well.
Dance performances, including belly dancing, will be held at Atrium 1 from 5pm to 5.30pm on the first and third days, followed by electronic hip-hop music presentations.
