SCMP Reporter

Nominations for the Scout of the Year are now open. The Scout Association of Hong Kong is  urging  all qualified candidates to compete  for this meaningful award. Selection is based on  accomplishments in 'scouting achievements, professional/academic performances, community involvement and contributions and family affiliation'. It is divided into three stages: preliminary screening, semi-final  and final selection.

Finalists are required to attend an interview conducted by an external selection panel, which will be made up of  prominent community leaders and representatives from sponsoring organisations. If you think you have what it takes,  visit www.scout.org.hk to download a nomination form.

The deadline  is October 31, 2003.
