Hong Kong customs officers have seized $30 million in smuggled goods from a vessel bound for the mainland and arrested seven people on board.

The officers found a variety of expensive goods including plasma television sets, shark's fin, computer parts, industrial bearings and medical equipment on the boat.
They seized it off Lung Kwu Tan in Tuen Mun early on Thursday.
The unmanifested goods were found concealed in four containers on board a river vessel bound for Shekou.
Those arrested were the cargo's sender, who is a Hong Kong resident, and six mainland crew members.
