After slashing two days off the record for a transatlantic crossing in a mono-hull this month, Hong Kong-based billionaire Robert Miller has his sights set on a bigger prize.

He is now considering an attempt to obliterate the record for sailing around the world.
Miller's multimillion-dollar Mari-cha IV completed the west-to-east crossing from New York to Lizard Point in Cornwall in six days, 17 hours and 52 minutes - more than two days quicker than the previous best set by Bernard Stamm's Amour Lux in 2001.
The 70-year-old American-born British citizen, who has lived in Hong Kong since 1960, is now considering an even more ambitious attempt to circumnavigate the globe inside 80 days.
