Q What do you think of the organisation of Harbour Fest?
What do I think about Harbour Fest? First I think it is a good idea, but it wasn't done right.
The American Chamber of Commerce, the organiser, doesn't really understand this kind of entertainment business. It wanted to impress the world but had no clue how to do it.
Tickets for $900? That is too expensive, I can't afford it. Forget about fixed seating arrangements, it doesn't work. Open seating is better. Also, the organiser doesn't know how to handle public relations. Many people don't know the artists and in the end, they don't care.
As for band selection, I have already seen Santana twice in Hong Kong. For a change we should have got somebody who has never been here. (Prince was great, and I am still going to see Santana by the way.)
Maybe we should have got MTV involved.
