The domestic helpers who congregate on Chater Road in Central will have to find another place to hang out on Sunday. Louis Vuitton and the Hong Kong Classic Car Club are taking over the area to showcase some of the coolest, oldest classic cars from noon onwards in the 24th annual Classic Car Show. There will be 70-odd cars on display from as far back as the 1920s. The well-heeled petrol heads will be having a party on Saturday at The Repulse Bay, where Louis Vuitton will be presenting seven awards. The owners will receive trophies for their mantles and LV luggage to put into the trunk of their car. One of Hong Kong's most well-known classic car collectors, tycoon Michael Kadoorie, will not be present this year. Unfortunately he is out of town. CitySeen thought it would only be fair to include his picture so nobody forgot about him and his award-winning Fiat 508s Balilia.
