Tiny camera packs a five-megapixel punch
Product: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 Price: HK$4,390 Pros: Possibly the smallest five-megapixel camera around Cons: You cannot change the lens for another
Sony has just released its smallest five-megapixel camera to date - the Cyber-shot DSC-T1.
The stainless steel camera is just 21mm thick. Sony is also rather proud of the camera's Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar lens and 3x optical zoom, which it says is the best lens in the industry.
Well, it would, wouldn't it?
The lens offers 3x optical zoom, 6x precision digital zoom and something Sony calls smart zoom, which it claims can offer zoom ratios up to 12x - a highly ambitious boast for a soft zoom.
It also supports five focus points in multipoint autofocus so you can focus on subjects whether they are centred in the frame or not.
