Larry King Live: The David Blaine Interview
CNNI, 5pm
This is American illusionist David Blaine's first interview since he finished his 44-day voluntary starvation stunt in a plexiglass box suspended above the river Thames in London. Blaine talks about his experiences in the box, from the early taunting of the crowds, and how the reactions changed, to the hunger and boredom. Recently released from the hospital and back on solid foods, Blaine also discusses his health and future projects.
Extinct: The Dodo
National Geographic, 10pm
In this new series scientists piece together clues that shed new light on extinct species' behaviour and anatomy and also on the entire evolutionary puzzle. The dodo evolved in isolation until Dutch explorers landed on Mauritius in 1598. Less than 100 years later, the dodos were gone.
