The big watch on the cover of the invite did not fool anybody. All the guests must have decided beforehand that this free-for-all late-night soiree would become Santana's unofficial after party - unbeknown to organisers. A total of 1,600 VIPs managed to squeeze in - three times the number accounted for. The guests were led by a pathway of signature black balloons all the way to the outdoor atrium, the third floor of the IFC, which was lit up with coloured spotlights and giant projections of the just launched Diagono Professional Sports Watch series. It was extravagance and the amazing display of acrobatics, strength and music that lured the crowd in, but it was the non-stop drinks that kept the crowd going. Amazingly enough, the organisers did not disappoint, keeping up with the thirsty crowd: more than 600 bottles of champers were uncorked that night! It was an eclectic mix of people, from the A-list glitterati to the always lurking rent-a-crowd. On the list of mentionables: hairdresser to the stars Kim Robinson, singer Joyce Lee, socialites Ming Ho and Mira Yeh, and Reina Chau of Franck Muller. Almen Wong, the model/yoga guru, took a break from training and was seen indulging with model Moon Yau and advertising exec Casey Lin. Public relations head Susan Sng was seen with TVB's Ridge Teh, while Bulgari managing director Angelina Bleach and Ricardo de Castro gave a warm welcome to guests Robert and Sally Lo of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
