'Our serviced apartments have showed a steady increase in price despite the slowing economy. It was about 5 per cent up from last year's figure.

'On the unfurnished residential side, we are expecting a couple per cent more increase in price.'

'The De Ricou serviced apartments at 109 Repulse Bay Road offer 68 refurbished duplex suites featuring elegant furniture and interior settings which are in high demand since launching,' Mr Sawyer says.

The serviced apartments range in size from 2,020 to 2,243 sqft. For example, the monthly rental for a 2,105 sqft unit of two bedrooms plus a study on the 28th floor costs $79,000 inclusive.

A slightly smaller 2,020 sqft two-bedroom unit on a lower floor costs $62,000.

Bright, airy and with a stylish art deco lobby, De Ricou is perfect for small families, business couples and executives. 'Seeing a big demand there, we will alter more units phase by phase.'
