It was a night of twisted elegance with a surprise at every turn, when Veuve Clicquot hosted a Halloween bash at the Kee Club. Characters setting the mood for the evening included Medusa, with a live snake, and the mysterious Di Vine, who turned one of the rooms into the Poisonous Pit Stop. The surreal happenings were stage-managed by glam guru Greg Derham of the House of Siren. The Veuve team came sporting some of the best costumes for the Yelloween Halloween event, with Bruno Yvon outstanding in a cool joker outfit. The party also attracted royalty in the form of Prince Joachim and Princess Alexandra of Denmark who were seen shaking their booties into the wee hours. It seems the former Discovery Bay native had no problem blending in with Hong Kong's high society. Among A-list faces that came to play were Pansy Ho, glamorous Bonnie Gokson, Flora Cheong-leen, Shirley and Harry Hiranand, Aron, Reyna and Mahesh Harilela, Audry Ai and fiance Tom Morrow, beautiful Vicky Lam and publisher Lionel Fischer, Jean Lahirle of Celine, and socialite Louise Kou. The non-stop Veuve kept the crowd roaring until after 4am, helped by DJ Gilbert from Paris who teamed up with Daniel Auerbach on live percussion and Wink on sax.
