An American housewife accused of murdering her husband failed to appear in court yesterday for a second time because she was unwell.
Western Court heard that Nancy Ann Kissel, 39, who has been charged with the murder of Merrill Lynch banker Robert Kissel, 40, was medically unfit to attend yesterday's hearing.
Magistrate Timothy Jenkins was told the killing took place in the couple's flat at Parkview, Tai Tam, between November 2 and 5.
The mother of three is being detained in the custodial ward of Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The couple had two daughters, aged six and nine, and a three-year-old son.
Mr Jenkins yesterday ordered that the children's passports and social security passes seized by the police be kept in the custody of the US Consulate.
