From air ticket to caddie, from rub to scrub - it's all here

DRAGONAIR, with its 21-strong fleet and routes covering 26 passenger destinations in Asia, offers

some attractive golf and spa packages to many of the cities it flies to. Packages, which can be

booked by calling 3193 3338 or e-mailing ka.holidays@dragonair.com, include round-trip economy

tickets, travel insurance and airport-hotel transfers.

BANGKOK

Bangkok Golf Spa Resort

3 days/2 nights

From now till April 2004, the package starts from $2,520 per person on a twin-share basis and

departure on a weekday. Weekend (Friday and Saturday) departure starts from $2,970. Each

extension night is $180 for double occupancy and $340 for single. There is a complimentary shuttle

service to Future Park Rangsit Shopping Mall and the city centre.

Included are two 18-hole golf rounds, with caddie at Bangkok Golf Club, or one two-hour session of oil

massage with body scrub (adults only) at Bangkok Golf Spa Resort's Bangkok Spa.

The Peninsula Bangkok

(with golf at Bangkok Golf Club)

3 days/2 nights

For those who play golf but want to spend their nights in town. The package starts from $4,260 per

person for a weekday departure (Sunday-Thursday, $4,910 for Friday and Saturday) and twin-share

occupancy, and $5,980 ($6,710) for single occupancy.

Included is one round of 18-hole golfing with caddie at Bangkok Golf Club and another at the Thai

Country Club.

Both packages offer extra golf for $710 (weekdays) and $930 (weekends and public holidays), include

caddie, and round-trip transfers between hotel and golf course. A surcharge of $540-$1,140 may apply

during peak seasons. Business-class upgrade is available for $870-1,520 (in which case the peak

season surcharge does not apply).

PHUKET

Golfing in Phuket

3 days/2 nights

The package, with daily departures, starts from $4,310 for twin-share occupancy and $4,860 for a

single (non-golfers pay $3,930 for twin-share). The hotel is the Blue Canyon Country Club, which

includes two golf courses (Phuket Lakes and Phuket Canyon). Price (which includes one round of

18-hole golfing) covers round-trip air ticket, travel insurance and airport-hotel transfer. (During peak

seasons there is a surcharge of $300-$1,800.) Guests can upgrade to business class for

$1,950-$3,130 (in which case the peak season surcharge does not apply).

SHANGHAI

Shanghai Easy - The Westin Shanghai

3 days/2 nights

Prices are $4,340 per adult (twin share) and $5,980 (single), which include a 20 per cent discount on

all treatments at the hotel's Banyan Tree Spa. Guests are welcomed at the airport, and the package

includes a private car rental with driver at $590 per car (maximum three persons) and $760 per coach

(maximum seven persons) for eight hours. Each extra hour is $60. (During peak seasons there may be

a surcharge.) Offer available from now till April 2004.

CATHAY PACIFIC offers Spa Sensations packages in a line-up of popular destinations that includes

Bali and Bangkok. For bookings, call 2747 4388. Daily departures. Packages include round-trip

economy tickets, accommodation with breakfast, one complimentary spa treatment, travel insurance

and private car transfers between airport and hotel.

BALI

Spa Sensations - The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa

4 days/3 nights

Prices are $6,490-$6,890 per adult for twin share and $9,190-$9,990 for single, and the package can

be upgraded to one-bedroom Ocean View Villa for $9,490-$12,790 per person (twin share) and

$15,130-$21,830 (single). Complimentary treatments are Marine Wave Deluxe (70 minutes) and

Balinese Thalasso Experience (3 1/2 hours).

Spa Sensations - Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali

4 days/3 nights

Prices are $5,290-$6,090 (twin share, single-room supplement $1,000-$1,600) and $7,090-$8,490

(single), with one spa treatment included.

Guests can choose The Ritual or The Villa Romance. A 30 per cent discount is available for additional

treatments. Also a complimentary jetlag massage for two persons per stay.

Spa Sensations - Alila Ubud

4 days/3 nights

Prices are $6,630-$7,090 per adult for twin share ($1,700-$2,040 for single room) and $9,190-$9,990

per single adult. Complimentary spa programmes are Ultimate Indulgence (2 hours, 20 minutes) and

Transcendence with Traditional Asian Facial. Includes a 20 per cent discount on additional treatments,

a complimentary afternoon tea, a romantic dinner for two (excluding December 20-January 5), a bottle

of sparkling wine and a departure gift - and a complimentary spa departure gift for honeymooners.

Spa Sensations - Hotel Tugu Bali

4 days/3 nights

Prices are $7,690-$8,130 per adult for twin share ($3,900-$4,400 for single room supplement) and

$12,190-$13,090 for a single traveller, with 20-minute welcome massage. Guests should book

appointment for one complimentary spa treatment, either Balinese Dancing Massage or One Keraton

treatment. The comprehensive Javanese full-body programme is 2 1/2 hours. Additional treatments

come with a 10 per cent discount. Daily sunset high tea and cake, flowers and fruit for honeymooners.

Spa Sensations - The Legian Bali

4 days/3 nights

Prices are $8,490-8,890 per person for twin share ($4,540-$5,000 for single room supplement) and

$12,790-$14,630 for a single adult. Accommodation is a one-bedroom superior suite, and one

complimentary treatment of Balinese massage (50 minutes) or The Legian Indulgence (2 hours, 20

minutes) is included. After that, a 20 per cent discount on all a-la-carte spa treatments. A

$1,800-$2,450 surcharge may be added for peak seasons. (Gala Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

dinners may require direct payment to hotel.)

BANKOK

Bangkok Golf Getaway - Bangkok Golf Spa Resort

Daily departure. Prices are $1,990-$2,390 per adult for twin share ($300-$400 single room

supplement) and $3,370-$4,030 per single adult. Price includes two rounds of golf at the Bangkok Golf

Club. For non-golfers, twin share is $2,190 (with 50-minute aromatherapy massage). Caddy and golf

cart not included. Extra 18-hole round is $354. Ticket valid for two to seven nights.
