Lawyer Kennedy Wong Ying-ho - recently named as an Outstanding Young Person of the World of 2003 by the Junior Chamber International - has one pet subject and it is not law.
The 40-year-old is very much interested in mainland China and its relationships with Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Especially Taiwan.
According to Alice Liu Yee-chun, national president of the Hong Kong Junior Chamber, Mr Wong's achievements in the legal profession and his contributions to the community, especially in uniting young people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, have won him much praise and recognition.
Mr Wong received his award, together with other winners from the United States, France, Singapore and Malaysia, in Copenhagen, Denmark, earlier this month.
So why this interest in fostering friendly exchange between young people in Hong Kong and Taiwan?
