Teachers and parents can use it to develop their own material to educate their students and children about moral and civic values.

The two greatest human values being singled out are bravery in shouldering responsibility and persistence in overcoming difficulties. Astronaut Yang Liwei is cited as an example of someone with these qualities.

The page, entitled 'Perseverance and Commitment - Space Mission of Yang Liwei', guides students to learn morals on four different levels relating to Colonel Yang's personal experience.

Youngsters are first taught how to be persistent when faced with difficulties, just like Colonel Yang who overcame hardships before the successful space mission.

They are then told to think of their relationship between themselves and their families. Colonel Yang had to strike a balance between career and family.
