Where? On the private island of Wakaya in Fiji.
Ah, the splendour of the South Seas ... The club, which was built 10 years ago by owner David Gilmour, is perched on the edge of a Tiffany-blue lagoon, and consists of nine blissful beach villas - also known as bures.
Exclusive, then? A favourite with celebs including Tom Cruise, Michelle Pfeiffer, Bill Gates and Celine Dion (who blubbed when she left), Wakaya is consummately cushy - but not in a show-off way.
Examples, please. Instead of flat-screen TVs and chi-chi boutiques, there's an orchid garden, six staff for every guest, and private beaches where guests can drink until they fall over.
Robinson Crusoe with bubbles? It's fabulously hunter-gatherer: game at Wakaya is shot in the forest; fish are caught on the line; and the fruit and vegetables are cultivated by moon phase (meaning staff sometimes have to pick potatoes at 2am). Even the water supposedly has magical properties.
Tell us more. As well as the hotel, Gilmour founded Fiji Water, a popular brand with beauty buffs, who love that its high silica content helps plump out lines and makes hair and nails strong.
