The French brand synonymous with feminine sexuality celebrated its 50th birthday in the only way imaginable, with loads of style and bubbly flowing like water. Hong Kong's glitterati arrived in their own vintage Chloe gear, so much so that swathes of the 360 guests were almost indistinguishable from the models. Not so different to the normal crowd at Dragon-i, really, with models dotting the VIP area at all times. The confusion made it all the more, shall we say, colourful, with people pointing and whispering 'Is she the model? You can't tell who is who, they are just walking around ...' The vintage collection was the highlight - even though the items were draped on non-descript mannequins, people still inquired if they could be bought. Flying in from France for the party was Ralph Toledano, president of Chloe, while Hong Kong brand manager Helen Willerton looked amazing in her black Chloe dress, and photographers kept mistaking her for one of the models. Spotted in the crowd were Shirley Hiranand, fashion designer to the socialities Cecilia Yau, King Fook Jewellery's Victoria Lai, former actress Charine Chan and Gilbert Yeung and his sister Cindy.
