Joint company formed

ISLANDCAN, a subsidiary of Frankie Dominion (Holdings), has formed a joint venture with state-owned Guangdong Cannery and Hong Kong firm HK Inc to print and distribute tinplate for canned food and drinks.

The venture, Eagle Coin Islandcan Printing, has registered capital of US$5 million. Islandcan holds 41 per cent.

Islandcan will contribute a new tinplate printing line from England and the necessary technology for production. Guangdong Cannery will provide some equipment and premises for production, while HK Inc is responsible for working capital and market development.
