British band Blue's new album is called Guilty. And well they should be. It's a very feeble offering indeed. The record is lacklustre and at times offensive. It is probably true to say they are not the most talented and inspiring bunch of musicians around today. They don't appear to be in a band to make music, but to increase their media coverage in the tabloid newspapers. There is no emotion, no enthusiasm and no effort in their music, and worst of all, they have no good tracks. Money and celebrity appear to be their only motivation. The Westlife-ish disappointment of Breathe Easy should be skipped entirely. Stand Up is an attempt to copy Justin Timberlake, but is not catchy enough. Rock The Night flows quite similarly to their old hit, All Rise. By covering Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours Blue are also guilty of ruining a soul classic, even though Angie Stone and Stevie Wonder got involved. How Blue managed to produce such harrowing music with their help is beyond imagining. Move on, nothing great to see here.
