INVESCO, the British fund management group 24 per cent-owned by Peregrine Investments Holdings, has appointed Michael Benson as the chief executive of its Hong Kong-based Asia-Pacific business.

   The appointment concludes the company's restructuring which divides its main business areas into three semi-autonomous operating regions - North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
