TWO helicopters from the Guangdong search and rescue centre rescued 21 officers and crew from a Panamanian cargo ship which broke in two and went aground off Shantou yesterday morning.

   There were no injuries and the crew, including Taiwanese, Burmese and Indonesians, were on their way from China to Keelung in Taiwan.
