TWO South African shows by pop star Michael Jackson were cancelled but might be rescheduled, local promoter Anant Singh said.

  Marcel Avram, the owner of Mama Concerts which is running the world tour, indicated that Jackson would take a 12-day break from touring beginning on September 26 and would resume the tour in South America on October 9.

  The South African shows had been announced for September 30 and October 2.

  Singh said ticket-holders could get their money back or hold on to the tickets for rescheduled shows.

   He said that any interest which was earned on the ticket money would be donated to charity.



Jackson to take 12-day tour break
