MARATHON EXPO
In conjunction with Sunday's annual Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, an exhibition will be held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza tomorrow (12 noon to 8pm) and on Sunday (10am to 8pm). Activities in the Marathon Expo include game stalls, tips by experienced runners and a foot-massage workshop. Admission is free. Inquiries on 2577 0800.
STAMP EXHIBITION A stamp exhibition aims to provide a platform for communication among collectors. 'Tourism' is the theme of the Hong Kong 2004 Stamp Expo, which is being held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre from today until February 3. A number of exhibits from overseas and local dealers are on display. The expo has also arranged special activities for young collectors. Free admission from 10am to 6.30pm today, 9.30am to 6.30pm from tomorrow to Monday and 9.30pm to 4pm on Tuesday.
MOVING IMAGES
Two programmes from the onedotzero festival - Wow + Flutter 03 and Wavelength 03 - will be screened this Sunday at 2.30pm and 4pm respectively. Wow + Flutter 03 introduces a wide spectrum of animation, motion graphics and abstract experimentation from Hong Kong and many overseas cities.
Wavelength 03 reviews 22 pieces of inventive animation by the big names of the genre such as Syd Garon, Eric Henry and Muto Masashi. Tickets for each programme cost $100 and $80 (full-time students) and are available at HK Ticketing on 31 288 288.
