Colombian held over attempted theft

A Colombian, 40, was arrested for allegedly trying to steal a wallet containing Euro1,500 (HK$14,650) and HK$500 from a German traveller in a Tsim Sha Tsui cafe. The German visitor was in a Delifrance   at 11.30am when the suspect and two  accomplices tried to distract him and steal the wallet from his jacket, police said.  Officers arrested one suspect but two others fled.
