Stanley slope wins landscape competition

Lung Tak Court in Stanley has won the award for the best landscaped slope in a competition organised by the Civil Engineering Department and community groups. The first runner-up went to Sau Mau Ping Estate III. Hong Kong International School and 127 Repulse Bay Road tied for the third spot.

Driver in hospital after car crash injures seven

Seven people including two drivers were injured when a car slammed into the back of another vehicle in Yau Ma Tei. The five men and two women, aged between 18 and 43, were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the crash in the Tsim Sha Tsui-bound Nathan Road near the junction of Jordan Road at 4.30am. One of the drivers, 43, was in a serious condition, while the others were discharged after treatment.

Midnight fire damages 14 bikes in tseung kwan o

Firemen are investigating a blaze that damaged 14 motorcycles in Tseung Kwan O. Fire and police officers were called to a motorcycle parking area under a footbridge on Chung Wa Road after the blaze was reported at 12.30am. The fire was extinguished before 1am and an initial investigation showed there were no suspicious circumstances.
