Actoz Soft wins Legend of Mir rights

A South Korean court has ruled that Actoz Soft is the rightful owner of overseas distribution rights to online game Legend of Mir, a development which could help Shanghai-based Shanda Networking fight off a lawsuit by Korean company Wemade.

Wemade has accused Shanda of intellectual property infringement in a Beijing court and wants the mainland operator to shut the game down.

Shanda is planning a dual Hong Kong and New York listing, which has reportedly been held up because of the suit.
