Chinese-language version for call girl saga

Tracy Quan, sex columnist for Salon.com - the intelligent person's gossip magazine - says Hongkongers will soon be able to buy the Chinese-language edition of her novel Diary of Manhattan Call Girl, the semi-autobiographical tale of a high-class prostitute.

'Nancy Chan is a post-colonial call girl whose Chinese ancestors settled in a distant British colony during the 1800s,' Quan told CitySeen from her home in New York.

'She is a modern American prostitute, slightly at odds with her adult identity because she ran away from her childhood home at an early age. For this novel to be published in China is a kind of homecoming for her.'

Expect it to come out some time this year.
