Hong Kong's army of handbag lovers will be thrilled to hear that from tomorrow they can get their hands on the 'Royal Jelly' line of bags, the newest addition to the hot Italian Jelly Bag collection.
But forget about a high-profile product launch - the Royal Jellies have instead found their way, rather bizarrely, to the Central Golf shop in the basement of the Bank of America Tower.
The bags have found their way into this curious outlet courtesy of a couple of entrepreneurial local socialites. Jelly Bags, which are made of stitched rubber and bear a striking similarity to the Hermes Kelly bag, have already been widely copied across Asia and have been turning up at Hong Kong market stalls.
However, the Royal Jellies have yet to receive the local knock-off treatment and will be on sale from tomorrow until Sunday.
