SCMP Reporter

The Academy for Performing Arts (APA) is launching its Gifted Young Dancer Programme in September.

Designed for young people interested in full-time professional dance training, the programme offers courses in  ballet, modern dance, Chinese folk dance, hip-hop, jazz, acrobatics and tap.

Participants will also receive training in dance theories and improvisation. Performance opportunities will be available.

The programme will run from September 18 to June 25, spanning two semesters. It is open to those aged 14 and above. Tuition fee is $2,500 per semester.

Applications are now accepted. Application forms and details are available from the APA, 1 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. Forms can also be downloaded from www.hkapa.edu.
