A TWO-week campaign to clear misunderstandings about AIDS is being launched by nursing students of the Chinese University. Starting today, the ''AIDS Forum'' is a response to the call for more positive action on AIDS by the Committee on Education and Publicity on AIDS. It aims at providing university staff and students with a better understanding of AIDS and educating them about methods of prevention. There will be an exhibition and a distribution of pamphlets, and September 28 has been declared the university's AIDS day. On that day, AIDS specialists will hold two seminars, giving an introduction on the disease, with emphasis on ethical and moral issues and common misconceptions relating to AIDS. Games stalls and video shows will be part of the AIDS Day programme. The campaign will include a study by the nursing students on the impact of the ''AIDS Forum'' on university staff and students in terms of attitude change and knowledge gained.
