Some 130 elegant ceramic pieces, dating from the Ming dynasty (AD1368-1644) to the present, are on display at the exhibition 'Pottery and Porcelain: A Journey of Discovery'.

China is billed as a 'country of ceramics'. The production of ceramics reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The exhibition features a variety of teaware from that period to the 20th century, and other ceramic artefacts.

Another highlight includes educational corners showcasing raw materials, decorations and firing techniques in the making of porcelain and purple clay ware.
