Cheng Yan-yee, the daughter of longtime star Lydia 'Fei-fei' Shum Tin-ha, is hoping to follow in her mother's showbiz footsteps - but she'll be treading a lot more softly. The teenager, who lives in Vancouver where she is in the 11th grade, has been enjoying slimming services sponsored by listed beauty company Sau San Tong, and after more than five months of hard work, has managed to drop from 106kg to 68kg. CitySeen hears, however, that the fat lady hasn't sung yet - company head Shirley Cheung Yuk-shan has told local newspapers that Cheng's target weight is about 55kg. Her slimming regime, however, has been kept confidential. In addition to eyeing a showbiz career, the now medium-sized young lady is also apparently on her way towards becoming an author. Ms Cheung revealed in an interview with Apple Daily that Cheng has documented every detail of her slimming experience in a journal that may be published. Apparently the teenager decided it was time to lose weight when her mother asked fashion designer Barney Cheng to stitch together two identical evening gowns as a party dress for her daughter.
