While Damien Rice's stunning debut album, O, has been around for a while in his home country, Britain, it has only recently been released here in Hong Kong.

The soulful vocals, acoustic guitar and strings featured on O combine to make music that touches your heart and makes you want to cry.

But this doesn't mean that it's a depressing record; it is, in fact, beautiful and moving.

Next up is Volcano, a song that introduces Lisa Hannigan's equally soulful and sometimes angelic voice.

The Blower's Daughter follows later. It's an aching track with lyrics like 'I can't take my mind off you' that may well move you to tears.
